Wool fairies

Wool fairies are a joy to make. They are Waldorf inspired, needle felted. Beautiful and soft with natural colors. They immediately attract your eye and make for a happy sight. Nice by themselves or combined in a mobile attached to a branch.

Price: 100 shekel (23euro) for a girlfairy, 120 shekel (30euro) for a boyfairy.  The size is about 25 cm from head to bottom. The fairy has a gold string with glass beads attached to it.

Patchwork in progress

Something new for me. Patchwork. It always seemed too daunting a project but I made the first step. The disappearing nine block. Lots of fun playing with the pattern. This first one is for on my daughter her bed 🙂

You start by making blocks of 9 pieces of fabric.  These you cut in 4 squares. And voila, a complicated block is created. Now you can play with the pattern.
